Most of us have memories from our childhood of sitting in some cold doctors office, waiting to get a “shot” and not really wanting it. For some reason deep down we know that we don’t really need it but our parents say we do, our doctors say we do, and our schools say we do…. so we do it, and suck on our favorite colored corn syrup lollypop as if it could ease away our uneasiness.
