Is Not Being Sick, Worth Being Sick For?

Most of us have memories from our childhood of sitting in some cold doctors office, waiting to get a “shot” and not really wanting it. For some reason deep down we know that we don’t really need it but our parents say we do, our doctors say we do, and our schools say we do…. so we do it, and suck on our favorite colored corn syrup lollypop as if it could ease away our uneasiness. DragonCon 2008

I wanted to let everyone know that I will be going to DragonCon in Atlanta, Georgia this year. I’m will be exhibiting art in the art show, which is also an auction so be sure to make it out if you want framed, signed art from moi! There will also be an artists bazaar where many artists, including myself, will be selling artwork, prints, and any other merchandise with their art involved. There will also be actors from many sci-fi movies and shows, people in costumes, music and a whole lot of craziness!

Love and our Future

When we look at the conditions on Earth today, for most it’s hard to imagine things getting any better or any worse. Sure we all want to see peace and we generally feel that no one should go hungry or homeless, but where do we begin?

When we have the attitude towards our world saying to ourselves either, “This isn’t happening.” or, “That’s just how it is.”   how can we have a lasting effect on it and how can we expect anything else to happen? (more…)
